no. 2 - when it's over, I want to say

All my life I was a bride married to amazement.
I was the bridegroom, taking the world into my arms.
Letitia made the brilliant suggestion that we take some post-wedding photos in Italy since the dress was travelling to Rome for the Sposi Novelli blessing with Papa Francesco.
Given the planning, effort and dough that went into the dress, I was understandably enthused by the suggestion given that I thought it a great pity to only get to wear the dress once! (or twice in my case for the first and second receptions)
Naturally, the lovely Julianne and Sam shared my enthusiasm and that's the tale of how Mark trotted around in his 3 piece with me in the lovely lakeside town, Bellagio, together with Selene who I found while trawling through Italian wedding posts.
Cheesey photos aside, I am completely enamoured with so many others and every fibre of my being feels compelled to spam them all on a page and obsess over them by scrolling up down, left right and back and forth. But here's what will probably be a futile attempt at pacing myself so that I can fully appreciate each set of photos.
Today I recognise on many levels how blessed I am to be able to do crazy things like this and when times get tough, to remember exactly just that.

To remember: we wanted to take photos on a lovely day at Villa Melzi but they attempted to charge us an arm and a leg. We refused and wound up wandering around the Bellagio pier area to whistles and shouts of congratulations (in Italian of course). It also rained, actually no, it stormed and there was hail too - so we ran in the cold rain and this photo, captured just outside our room at Villa La Rosa B&B, is completely nuts.
Sometimes, the universe has its own plan and its not always bad.
